I’m going to try yoga again. My back has been bad this past week or so.

December 20, 2007
Shaun and I went to his office Christmas party. It evidently went on for many hours after we left.

I meant to have this all caught up last weekend. You forgive me because everyone is thrown off by the holidays, right? Plus I had that week without electricity. Well! Here is that week in photographic form. Lots more can be viewed in my Ice Apocalypse 2007 Set on flickr.

I spent most of the day lying in bed with my laptop playing The Sims 2. I don’t take the laptop to bed with me nearly enough. I feel like I need to be really productive pretty soon but I’m not recovered from NaNoWriMo yet, you know?

I can hardly believe that it’s December. There’s still so much to do. Shaun and I are going to Disney World at the end of the month for our one year anniversary. I’ve been married for 11 months, it feels like forever and not very long at all. Shaun and I are exactly [...]

Yes! We started putting up the Christmas tree today, after we put the Halloween decorations away in the garage. If you think it’s too early, I’m not going to apologize. We like to eke as much fun and awesomeness out of everything that is fun and awesome as we possibly can. That’s just [...]

This is my facial reaction to almost forgetting to take a picture of myself today. Or, it’s me pretending to have a facial reaction to associate with that. I feel so distracted today in a very good, musical way. My parents came and took me to lunch again and I found a bunch [...]

November 11, 2007
Today was such a day for simple pleasures. After the drudgery of grocery shopping, of course. Walks, showers, pizza, way too many photos that turned out the way I wanted them to, listening to music and talking and not talking. Shaun got mostly caught up on his NaNoWriMo and I’m not far behind [...]

November 9, 2007
Today I didn’t feel like writing and I didn’t feel very good about myself.
I sat down and word warred with Shaun and in two half hour sessions got 2,255 words down. They’re actually the best I’ve written so far this month. I laid down in bed and took boring, dark pictures and fixed [...]

Here I am on day one of NaNoWriMo; still in my pajamas at 3pm and feeling slightly crazy already. I had a really tough moment right away but I pushed past it and wrote 2,361 words today.
I’m not posting excerpts (yet, nothing stands out) but I thought it might be fun to post [...]
